Higgs Boson Found ?

I am super excited to read the news on the Guardian that two groups of scientists from CERN announced they are almost certain that they have found Higgs Boson. 

For uninitiated, Higgs Boson is the particle (or a class of particles since the prediction made decades ago only laid out its properties, not numbers) that gives mass to matter -- the fundamental question of physics. In other words, it answer the question, "Why does matter have mass?" You can view a short explanation by the PhD Comics guy below:

Now, the physicists, being academics, were very careful with their choice of words and did not bluntly say, "We found Higgs Boson." However, based on the wordings, I am sure they have found it and would announce it within years after more thorough analysis on the data they have obtained. 

It is exciting that two groups of scientists made the discovery independently, making the findings have credibility.
